» Canines get to wear armor. I thought it would be a fun twist xD. Each canine gets a pair of armor and the strength of that armor is dependent on how many posts you have IC (aka points). This helps in battle -nods-. You can say what kind of armor and what it looks like and so on if you want to. You just get armor okay?!
BREEDS
» All breeds are accepted on this site EXCEPT wolves. You may have wolf-looking characters. However, just because you have a wolf looking character does not make your character all-powerful. If staff sees any of this then we will change this rule. » This is semi-realistic meaning take size into consideration if you get yourself into a fight. A pug can probably not take down a bullmastiff. Be smart when you get yourself into fights. (That doesn’t mean small dogs can’t be warriors. They can, but they have to be pitched around someone their size when going into battle.) » No hybrids. Meaning all breeds must be pure dog. » No coyotes, foxes etc are allowed. This means ONLY DOGS are role-played here.
RULING
» Rulers make the rules of the land. End of story. They are free to do what they want which includes persecuting a certain type of breed, making the army exclusive, etc. This is a free RPG. » There is only ONE supreme ruler of each pack. Yes, that ruler can have a mate, but it is the one of ROYAL birth that has say over everything. This comes into play in fights. » Anyone at any age can become ruler. Only dogs between one and eight may fight for it. A pup can inherit the throne but will need a regent.
FIGHTING
» You can fight anywhere at anytime and plan the terms on your account. » Fights are judged on role-playing skill and armor points. » Fights are judged by someone on staff. Go to the fight notify board in Administration to alert staff to a fight. » To make this as realistic as possible (excluding armor factor) we do not allow fights that are impossible. This means, we will not allow a dachshund to fight a Great Dane or someone five times its height. Pups may fight. » Males may fight females and vice versa especially since a female might hold the throne and a male wants it. » There is only one supreme ruler. Therefore, if you want the throne you must challenge that supreme ruler. Challenging the mate has no real effect unless you just want to be that dog’s mate. Power is limited for the mate.
SIEGE
» A siege is when one power goes in to conquer a territory of another power. **** Par example: Rome goes in to fight Athens for Tripolis. » Sieges are set up where it is five dogs vs. five dogs, five representing the intruding power and the other five acting as the defenders. Whoever gets the best out of five wins will win the siege and the territory. » If you lay siege and win two territories of another power, you can go for conquering that power. This means you HAVE to have the two royal dogs on the throne fight each other. If the defending royal loses, the intruding royal and their power will get everything. **** Par example: Constantine is the Roman Emperor. He has succeeded in captured two territories of Sparta thus goes to lay siege to Sparta itself. Leonidas, the King of Sparta, comes out to meet him. If Leonidas loses, Sparta is Constantine’s and Constantine becomes the King of Sparta and Roman Emperor. Sparta will become a vassal of Rome. If Leonidas wins, Sparta remains as it where and gains one territory back. » As of now, Thebes is not open for siege. » Whichever power has the most territories makes them the dominant power in the land.
BREEDING
» No graphic breeding or I will hunt you down. » All birthing will take place in Boeotia. Staff will come around and deliver your puppies states. » Dogs may force breed so long as the roleplayer of the female gives their consent. » A dog may breed only two litters per Spring. » All litters are born in Spring.
TIME PERIOD
» Each season lasts a month. No if’s, and’s or but’s.
CHALLENGES
» Leaders get immunity for a year in Conquest time if they are challenged and win. If they lose, the newcomer gets one year immunity. » You may only challenge twice for a throne in a dog’s lifetime. » No challenging all at once because it is chaos. Challenges have to take place a week from each other. Meaning, one challenge is made then a week must pass before someone else can challenge. (This goes for all thrones.) » You must be at least one year old to challenge (dogwise)
CITIZENSHIPS
Citizenship defines where your character was born. If the territory of your homeland is conquered by another country, you are taken as prisoner due to that is where your citizenship is.
So if you're a Roman, your citizenship falls into either Philadelphia, Neopolis, or Constantinople. Not Rome. Your power allegiance is Rome.
So if your're a Greek (Athens), your citizenship falls into either Thessaly, Delphi, or Tripolis. Not Athens. Your power allegiance is Athens.
So if you're a Spartan, your citizenship falls into either Corinth, Messenia, or Argos. Not Sparta. Your power allegiance is Sparta.
If you're a Thebian, your citizenship falls into either Chaeronia, Macedon, or Phokis. Not Thebes. Your power allegiance is Thebes.
Example:
Atreus is the Tsar of Athens. Thus, his power allegiance is most definitely Athens. Power Allegiance: Athens Now, his citizenship, has he not been Tsar (King/Emperor/Kaiser/etc.), he was born in Tripolis, making this his citizenship, should he ever lose his throne. Citizenship: Tripolis
